Avenue of the Americas Association Dinner Dance - October 22, 2008
Over 300 guests recently gathered to celebrate the Avenue of the Americas Association’s 82nd Anniversary Dinner Dance at the Hilton New York. The Association presented the 2008 Gold Key Award to The Rockefeller Group in honor of its 80th anniversary. Throughout the evening, guests won a variety of raffle prizes donated by restaurants and hotels along the Avenue. This annual event supports the Association, which also donates a portion of the evening’s proceeds to City Harvest. The Avenue of the Americas Association is a civic improvement corporation that acts on behalf of its members to address issues affecting business operations on the Avenue of the Americas and its surrounding neighborhood. Annual Meeting at the Harvard Club
Over 200 people attended the Ave. of the America Association’s Annual meeting in May at the Harvard Club. Guest speaker John Heilemann, political reporter at New York Magazine, entertained the crowd with insight from his time on the 2008 campaign trail. Members had the opportunity to meet with their corporate neighbors and enjoy lunch in the spectacular setting at Harvard Hall.
